Donald Kress
A businessman and civic benefactor, long time Green Bay, Wisconsin resident Donald Kress provides support for many local causes including the St. Norbert College, the University of Wisconsin, the yearly Bishop's Appeal, and the Salvation Army. In addition to serving as the Director of the local chapter of the Salvation Army, Mr. Kress has also served as the President of the local Humane Society and of the Civic Music Association in Green Bay. Nationally, he has held the position of Director of The National Association of Accountants.
A former competitive athlete with five skiing medals, Donald Kress is also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He received a B.S. in Medical Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Mr. Kress joined the family business, the Green Bay Packaging Company, in 1964, and helped shepherd the company through a major period of expansion and change. Green Bay Packaging manufactures recycled paper manufacturing materials, and pioneered environmentally friendly paper processing with its zero discharge wastewater mill in Green Bay. Donald Kress currently serves on the Board of Directors and has retired from his position as Senior Vice President. He currently works for Cardon Properties, LLC, filling the position of Treasurer, Secretary, and CEO.
Donald Kress travels, reads, skis, and composes music in his spare time.
